Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas & A Happy, Healthy & Prosperous New Year!
This was my Christmas & early Birthday present (for the next 10 years =o)) from my awesome husband. Introducing Kiki Koopa, my new JCW Coupe.
I guess I should change the name of my blog to Yoshi and Kiki Koopa's Adventures considering that Woodstock was turned back to MINI under the Lemon Law a couple of years ago.
Have a great day all

You can now order more stickers
Hey all, I finally created a website to purchase stickers. It won't win any design awards but it is functional. I've got about half the stickers posted and now that I have the process down, I'll be adding more in the coming days. Check it out at www.stuckonminis.com

From Go Kart Handling to the real thing
Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted anything since July. All I can say is time flies when you're having fun. Since July, we've been to Europe (The MINI Factory tour was awesome), taken Bowser and Yoshi to Willow Springs for a track day on "The Streets of Willow" and taken up a new hobby.
I've always loved to drive a go kart, but just for fun and mostly when I was a kid. For Christmas, Bill sent me to the Jim Hall Kart Racing School in Oxnard, I had a blast and was hooked. I liked it even better than tracking the cars at Willow Springs. I have to tell you, driving the rental karts vs driving the school racing karts are a whole different experience. The rentals karts are heavy, slow and very heavy to steer, in contrast to the racing karts, which are light, very fast and easy to steer. Well one thing lead to another and we ended up getting a racing go kart, it's an Arrow X1-CIK TAG (Touch And Go) Kart with a Rotax Sr 125 engine, and Mojo Tires. This is thing is so awesome and very fast. So not only do I have go kart handling in all the MINI's and BMW 1M but now I have a real go kart that can go almost as fast as our JCW and I won't get a ticket no matter how fast I go on the track. Now all I have to do is improve my track times and then I can start to race it.
